Coordinator, Health & Safety Location: Moose Jaw, SK Create safer workplaces. Protect people. Make an impact. Are you passionate about fostering safe work environments where people can thrive? Do you enjoy working closely with teams, contractors, and stakeholders to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement? If so, this opportunity may be the perfect fit. As a Coordinator, Health & Safety, you'll play a key role in supporting construction sites and regional offices by providing practical guidance and support on health and safety practices. You'll be a trusted resource, helping teams identify risks, strengthen safety programs, and maintain safe, healthy workplaces through collaboration, education, and continuous improvement. Unlike a Prime Contractor, DCC acts as an Owner's Representative. While Prime Contractors are responsible for health and safety on their project sites, this role focuses on providing guidance, reviewing health and safety programs, and monitoring contractor performance to help ensure contractual and provincial OH&S requirements are met. By becoming a team member of a trusted partner of the Government of Canada and the Canadian construction industry since 1951, you will have the opportunity to support infrastructure projects that contribute directly to Canada's defence and operational readiness. DCC is proud to be the first federaland only governmentorganization recognized as a Gold Seal Employer under the Canadian Construction Association's Construction Management Certification Program, demonstrating our commitment to excellence, safety, and professional development. If you're a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for workplace safety, this role is for you.
