This opportunity is ideal for an apprentice who is nearing completion of their apprenticeship and preparing to write their 310S Automotive Service Technician certification exam. Pay Rate: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour flat rate Responsibilities Perform general vehicle maintenance and minor repairs Assist the Automotive Service Technician, as necessary Examine the vehicle assigned to determine if additional maintenance or safety work is required or recommended Road test vehicles, as required Restock the supplies in the Service Department Tag replaced parts for warranty or customer requests Keep up-to-date on manufacturer technical bulletins Qualifications Advanced-stage automotive apprentice who is nearing eligibility to write their 310S certification exam preferred Strong product knowledge Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs Good time management skills Strong attention to detail Technician experience an asset General Service Department experience an asset General Dealership experience Valid Ontario Driver's License with 3+ years driving experience If you are searching for an opportunity to grow your career while adding value to our team, then this role is for you. What you’ll do

Requirements

An advanced-stage automotive apprentice nearing eligibility to write the 310S Automotive Service Technician certification exam is preferred. Candidates should have strong product knowledge, technical and mechanical aptitude, good time management and attention to detail; a valid Ontario driver's license with at least three years of driving experience is required, while technician, service department, and dealership experience are assets.
