Your opportunity Dillon’s Electrical discipline group is looking for an Electrical Technologist to fill an existing vacancy within our multidisciplinary team of professionals. Responsibilities What your day will look like Design & Drafting Assist Electrical Engineers and Project Managers with the design and drafting support for multi-disciplinary projects. Assist with the preparation of reports, specifications, and project memos. Assist with electrical calculations including voltage drop, load calculations, short circuit analysis and Arch Flash studies. On-site observation Performance of electrical observations and inspections during construction. Review shop drawings, respond to request for information from contractors. Commissioning of on-site systems. Business travel upon request. Learning & Development Commit to self-development and ongoing learning and professional development. Qualifications What you will need to succeed An electrical engineering technologist diploma. Registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist or eligibility to be certified within six months. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Experience Two to three years’ work experience, however less experienced professionals will be considered. Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2014 (or newer). Working knowledge of Revit as a Building Information Management (BIM) design tool. Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and related building codes. Microstation experience is an asset. Hands-on experience in the design and drafting of electrical systems is required. Requirements

Candidates must hold an electrical engineering technologist diploma and be registered or eligible for certification as a Certified Engineering Technologist. The role requires two to three years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and the Canadian Electrical Code.
