The Position Reporting to Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for: Safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of a range of traditional and sophisticated mining equipment.; Supporting the operation in preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work processes and providing feedback to optimize reliability; Adhering to and promoting all safety policies, procedures and systems; Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement of area activities or problem equipment; Perform daily tasks using Computer Maintenance Management Systems. Skills And Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a team player with a who possesses: Certificate of Qualification in Heavy Equipment Preference to individuals with minimum three (3) years’ experience; A motivated attitude, a dynamic approach to getting tasks complete, and pride in accomplishment and craftsmanship; Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, locate, identify and diagnose malfunctions Strong ability to work under minimal supervision; Good interpersonal skills, communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with peers, engineering, and management; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and interest in continuous learning and improvement. Primary experience with surface loaders/haul truck such as; Caterpillar and John Deer. Secondary experience with U/G equipment such as; Sandvik, Atlas Copco, MacLean, Marcotte & Kubota tractors would be considered an asset. Requires a Certificate of Qualification in Heavy Equipment, preferably with at least three years of experience. Candidates should have primary experience with Caterpillar and John Deere surface equipment and strong diagnostic abilities.
