You can find out more about us at *www.donerite.ca*. *JOB DESCRIPTION* An Automotive Tire Technician is a skilled member of the Tire Department who reports to the Store Manager. *Duties and Responsibilities* An Automotive Tire Technician is responsible for performing the following duties: * Perform tire inspections. * Mount/dismount and balance all types of tires on all types of rims. * Uninstall and install rim and tire packages onto Cars, Trucks, Vans and SUVs. * Repair tires when they are safely repairable. * Rotate tires, check and adjust tire pressures, install and set tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) * Other duties, as assigned The regular hours in the Tire Department are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday. The Tire Department is also staffed seasonally on Saturdays from 9:00am - 2:00pm providing additional paid hours. *REQUIREMENTS* In order to be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications: * A valid Ontario Driver?s License and a satisfactory Driver?s Abstract * Experience in the automotive tire industry an asset * Physically fit and able to lift/carry 50lbs * Good interpersonal and communication skills *WHY WORK FOR US* An Automotive Tire Technician is compensated based on his/her skill and experience. The hourly rate of pay starts at $18.00 and continues to $24.00. We are committed to our employees and provide them with the opportunity to grow their career and their earnings.
