What We Offer Competitive hourly wage Canada Life Benefits RSP matching program Flexible work schedule Family-oriented culture Opportunities for growth and training What You Will Do As an in-barn Dairy Service and Installation Technician, you will install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools Test, inspect and examine machinery and equipment; adjust, repair, and replace defective parts as necessary Maintain machinery, service motors, gearboxes, PLC, frequency drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, scale repairs, feed systems Provide customer support and recommendations to dairy farmers; effectively manage and communicate any concerns, problems, or complaints. What You Bring The successful candidates: Must live near or relocate to the Salford/Wellesley area. Are self-motivated and have the ability to adapt to new technologies in the dairy industry. Possess excellent customer relations and communication skills. Have the talent and ability to become one of our service and installation department experts. Are or will become familiar with all types of milking and dairy equipment. Possess a Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record Are able to read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings Willing to drive long distances in southwestern Ontario Must be willing to work on-call hours (evenings/weekends) Experience: Previous dairy equipment experience preferred. Farming or agriculture background is considered an asset. Experience or knowledge in electronics and mechanics is considered an asset. Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, the ability to read technical schematics, and a willingness to work on-call hours. Previous experience with dairy equipment and a background in electrical or mechanical systems is preferred.
