Journeyman Automotive Service Technician

Responsibilities * Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership guidelines * Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment * Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. * Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs * Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Qualifications * Journeyman or Red Seal certification * Strong automotive background * Strong teamwork skills * Willing to submit to a background check * Must have a valid driver's license What we offer * Competitive rate of pay * Paid training at Ford training facility * Monday to Friday 8:00 - 4:30 and Saturdays 1/2 day on rotation * Health and dental benefits * Loyal customer base

Perform comprehensive diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on various automotive systems according to dealership and manufacturer guidelines. Communicate with Service Advisors to provide repair estimates and ensure customer needs are met.

Candidates must hold a Journeyman or Red Seal certification and possess a valid driver's license. A strong automotive background and the willingness to undergo a background check are required.
