JOB POSTING: ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION TECHNICIAN Central Ontario – Simcoe, Dufferin and York Counties | Part-Time Status: Part-time Schedule: 10–14 days per month, working approximately 6–9 hours per day Work Location: This role will service artificial insemination operations in the Simcoe, Dufferin and York Counties. Compensation: Starting at $200.00 per day worked. We compensate our team members based on the experience and knowledge they bring to the role and review salary on an annual basis. We are seeking an Artificial Insemination Technician to join our Central Ontario team and provide trusted reproductive services and product support to customers across Simcoe, Dufferin and York Counties. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Provide artificial insemination services: Deliver professional artificial insemination services to dairy and beef producers throughout the assigned territory. * Support product sales: Sell farm and agricultural products that meet customer needs. * Build customer relationships: Promote current and new products and services to established and prospective clients. * Provide reproductive guidance: Answer breeder questions and offer practical consulting support related to reproduction. * Stay connected and informed: Participate in staff development opportunities and attend staff and client meetings. * Daily driving: This position requires significant daily travel to farms throughout the assigned counties. You love and are comfortable spending a substantial portion of your workday driving between farm locations and maintaining a flexible schedule to meet customer service requirements. WHAT YOU BRING * A genuine interest in the dairy and beef industries. * Knowledge of and experience in agriculture. * Breeding experience is an asset; comprehensive training will be provided. * The physical fitness and acute manual dexterity required to perform the role safely and effectively. * Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in the field. * A valid Ontario G driver’s licence and a clean driving record. * Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Requirements
