Hours: 8:30 - 5:00; 40hrs a week PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES * Assembling industrial & hydraulic hoses * Visually inspect completed assemblies * Interact with customers and fulfill their product requests/needs * Stock handling and inventory managing * Picking and packaging customer orders * Loading/Unloading trucks * Maintaining a clean and organized workspace * Pressure test hose to ensure accurate, safe and quality made assemblies * Complete miscellaneous shop duties as required EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent * Prior manufacturing or production experience is considered an asset * Valid Driver’s License required with clean abstract / reliable transportation to and from work * Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many warehouse items are cumbersome and heavy * Enjoys a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift * Ability to learn and function fluently with in house computer software * Contribute to an upbeat atmosphere in the workplace by supporting and aiding all team members * Excellent communication skills, a mechanical aptitude and detail oriented with a desire to learn * Awareness of Health & Safety and Security measures in place to prevent injuries * Understanding of how to dispose of hazardous waste material in a safe manner Echelon Supply and Service provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws. Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Prior manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude are considered assets for this physically demanding role.
