The position will be based in Greater Sudbury (Onaping), Ontario. This is a full-time, permanent, unionized position. The hourly wage for this role ranges from $40.80 to $42.97 per hour, with wage progression based on apprenticeship level and hours completed, the position is eligible for applicable bonuses. This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy. Work location is not accessible by public transportation. Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis. We encourage early applications. Education Completion of a Post-Secondary Diploma Program (exempt from Trades School) or; Proof of exemption from Level 1, 2 and 3 Trades School or; Completion of all 3 levels of Trades School Acceptable work experience that includes 2 years of trade related work experience Grade 12 diploma Proof of Valid Drivers License Why choose Glencore? The role involves working as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Apprentice within the Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations. The technician will maintain and repair heavy equipment in a unionized mining environment.
Exigences
Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma, a valid driver's license, and either a post-secondary diploma or completion of trades school levels. Two years of trade-related work experience is also required.
