NOZZLEMAN (2 Vacancies, NOC 73100)

Integrity Shoring & Civil Ltd. based at Foothills Municipal District in the Province of Alberta, is a young and fast-growing company providing shoring and civil services to customers in Western Canada.  We are seeking experienced and qualified shotcrete construction professionals to execute quality shoring and shotcrete work.

Major Responsibilities

• Responsible for batching and applying (shooting) the shotcrete to the required ground support profile as provided on the Ground Support Instruction.
• Adhere to and maintain all company standards and perform duties to the highest levels of safe operation.
• Ensure all areas to receive shotcrete are clean, sound, and free of loose material, and that anchors, reinforcement, and ground wires are properly placed and spaced
• Set elevations, grades and thicknesses for the shotcrete placement
• Perform proper methods of material preparation and mixing to consistently mix and maintain the required mixture proportions and ratios
• Operate equipment such as tmixer and shotcrete sprayer, ensuring hose and pump are cleaned properly, maintained and inspected
• Document reports detailing work performed, log batches, areas sprayed and QA/QC performed (core panels sprayed, cube samples taken, slump measurements…etc)

Job Requirements

• Completed high school education
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shotcrete application as Nozzleman
• Heavy work, able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
• Safety conscious
• Willing to work in outdoor environments in all types of weather
• Flexible with hours worked, including shifts, overtime and weekend work as required
• Willing to travel for work
• Able to communicate in English

Terms of Employment

• Full time, permanent
• 30 - 44 working hours / week
• Base wage $30.25 - $35.00 / hour depends on experience
• 2 weeks annual paid vacation
