Position: Inline Inspection Technical Sales Engineer 
Location: Calgary, Alberta 
Type: Full Time (40 Hours per Week). 
Reporting to: Managing Director 
Compensation: $ 72,000 Salary per Year (CAD). 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify, pursue and capture sales opportunities with the objective of maximizing sales.
  • Ensure that all the tender documents are properly read and understood for the client requirements or the scope of service.
  • Ensure all the possible risks associated with the scope of work is covered and submitted to the Managing Director for their review.
  • Deliver the necessary presentation to new clients to improve Pipecare's market position and achieve financial growth.
  • Present to and consult top management on business trends with a view of developing new services, products, etc.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors/ Masters in Mechanical or Electrical or Petroleum Engineering
  • Ability to analyze P& IDs
  • Thorough knowledge in MFL, EMAT and UT CD technology applied in inline inspection.
  • Thorough knowledge in MTM technology 
  • Proven experience in handling inline inspection RFQs.
  • Thorough knowledge in preparation of Pipeline inline inspection offers.
  • Shall be capable to offer clients the most suitable tool configuration based on the pipeline parameters.
  • Proficient knowledge in Technical documentation related to pipeline Inspection. 
  • Proven expertise in MS Office and Office softwares. 
  • Proficient in using data management softwares - ERP and EMS. 
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Should be able to work independently and closely with others.


Minimum 4 years of work experience in: 

  • Analysis of ILI tender documents and preparation of offers
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in ILI business sector.
  • Experience in proposing the best tool configuration based on the pipeline parameters. 
  • Experience in preparing offers for unpiggable pipelines network
