Indigenous Partnerships & Engagement works within the department of Corporate and Continuing Education to bring educational training opportunities to First Nation, Metis, and Inuit Nations throughout Canada.
Instructors teach students on effectively passing the AIT Entrance Exam, specifically geared towards carpentry. Students learn the requirements and processes of the AIT Trades Entrance Exam, demonstrate mathematics & English competencies needed to challenge the AIT Carpentry Entrance Exam, and will learn the primary course material from the 1st Year Carpentry program.

Applicants with education credentials earned outside of Canada should have their credentials evaluated by World Education Services or the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS).
Location: First Nation communities throughout Alberta.
