Job Summary

Winter Lift Operator
Always wanted to work outside? With an amazing group of people who all like the same things as you? And spend your break shredding some of North Americas greatest terrain? – Sounds like you want to be a Lift Operator this winter! The Winter Lift Operator Position is the perfect position for you if you want to:
• Work in an active and fun environment
• Make long lasting connections with coworkers and others you meet at the resort,
• Be a part of a team that makes the mountain move – literally, we move the people up the mountain!
• Have a chance to ski/snowboard multiple times each day
• Get access to some of the best sunrises and sunsets this winter,
• Stay fit and active by shoveling the meters of snow Revelstoke gets!
This position is a full-time seasonal position that runs from November – April

Essential Job Functions

• Set up and take down lift equipment such as ramps, mazes, and signs.
• Assists guests with loading, unloading and general safe operation of the lifts.
• Completion of lift related documentation and daily safety checks.
• Understand all the activities available at the resort well enough to provide useful, up to date information.
• Ensure that all guests and staff accessing the lifts are in possession of a valid ticket.
• Constant snow removal and snow work. This includes raking of ramps and ice chipping.

Required Qualifications and Abilities

- Must have a passion for the outdoors.
- Must be able to do physical labor.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently.
- Mature, enthusiastic, and guest service oriented.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts (we operate on weekends and holidays.)
- Multilingual and first aid skills an asset.
- Able to ski or snowboard proficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, Ability to communicate clearly over a radio.
- Must be at least 16 years of age
