WorkSafeNB is accepting applications for two positions of senior project manager in Grand Bay-Westfield, New Brunswick.
WorkSafeNB is embarking on a service transformation initiative and will require strong project management skills to implement our strategic roadmap. Reporting to the director, operational effectiveness, the senior project managers will be the subject matter experts in the area of project management, best practices and will play a key role in growing the project management competency at WorkSafeNB. These roles are accountable for the successful delivery of moderately complex to complex projects, including planning, budgeting, managing, monitoring and evaluating all aspects of the projects. The senior project managers will provide leadership and advice to other project leads, helping them meet the requirements of the defined project management framework.
The candidate should have:
A university degree in a related field
A minimum of five years' work experience in project management, including knowledge of best practices and methodologies
Designation, certification, or courses in project management
Demonstrated competencies in:
written and oral communications
change management and stakeholder management
leadership and coaching
impact and influence at all levels of the organization
proven track record in delivering complex projects on time, on budget, and with quality results
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Bilingualism is an asset.
Experience with Lean Six Sigma is an asset.
