META is seeking a Director of Product Management in our Dartmouth, NS facility. You will play a key role in bringing new products to market, expanding the company’s overall business, and exploring new opportunities within the holography and augmented reality hardware industries.

What You’ll Do:

Your role will be providing hands-on product management leadership and working collaboratively to drive product strategy and help grow META’s business in augmented reality. ARfusion™ technology combines precision cast lens fabrication tools with functional metamaterials and volume holograms, to provide AR wearable developers with a platform for seamlessly integrating smart technologies into thin lightweight prescription glasses. ARfusion™ technology encompasses multiple products.

Some of the typical responsibilities will include:

• Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation through to end-of-life, to drive the timely delivery of new products.
• Contribute to the product roadmap, defining requirements, and delivering new products to help META grow our customer base.
• Understand and communicate customer needs, market trends, competitive solutions, and product positioning.
• Work cross-functionally with R&D scientists, project managers, operations, marketing, sales, and business development to achieve corporate strategic objectives.

• Develop, manage, and enforce a streamlined product management process for bringing technology-rich products to market.

Minimum qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in product management of physical products.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including an ability to clearly communicate product vision to inspire stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Demonstrated ability to drive results in a fast-paced, complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
• Experience across the full product lifecycle, providing product vision / roadmap, product requirements documents, and on-time delivery of complex products to market.
• Technical curiosity and passion for product, with intrinsic motivation to understand META’s customers, markets, and technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or equivalent. MBA preferred.
• Experience or knowledge in lenses, optical physics, augmented reality systems, and/or holography.
• Willingness and availability to travel internationally, up to 20% of time.
