The need for personnel is for our surface project Amaruq located in Nunavut.
The driller works in constant collaboration with the assistance driller in order to ensure effective drilling operations. The driller assumes full responsibility for performance and productivity, and this, always in a safe work place environment.
Principal Tasks and Responsibilities
•Install the drill safely (stabilize, tools in their proper place, etc.);
•Hold the proper plans and specifications;
• Ensures the proper functioning of the drill controls;
•Drill with a hydraulic drill;
•Verify regularly the dial controls in order to verify pressure, depth, the RPM of the drill;
•Take guidance tests inside the borehole;
• Provide maintenance and repair of drill.
Profile and Requirements
•Have at least 2 years of experience as a surface driller;
•Have experience with permafrost drilling is an asset;
•Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies in Diamond Drilling is an asset;
•Hold a valid Standard First Aid and CPR card;
•Hold a valid driver’s license;
•Good physical capacity and endurance;
•Ability to work in an isolated and wild environment for long periods of times;
•Be able to travel by airplane and helicopter;
•Ability to work in a changing environment and extreme Winter climate.

•12 hours per day
•Overtime after 40 hours per week
