Reporting to the Director of Operations and Environmental Services, the Manager of Building Maintenance is accountable for the management, leadership, operation and administration of the Building Maintenance Section, which includes, but is not limited to, the following services: i) administration of the facility capital portfolio including new construction, design, retro-fits and upgrades, ii) the maintenance, testing and inspections of all Town facilities (Town Hall, Libraries, Community Centres, Fire Halls, Community Pavilions, Operations Centre), iii) administration of corporate security management and implementation (CCTV, key management, access control, facility upgrades, policies and procedures), iv) asset management and conditional assessments of Town facilities and their components, v) general management and administration of the Building Maintenance Section including technology upgrades (ie. CityWorks) and the development of business processes, discipline and managing the performance of staff and the delivery of exceptional customer service to internal departments.
