The Manager, System Management Manager reports to the Director, Project Controls and leads the development, implementation, oversight and maintenance of the systems, tools and infrastructure that support the core project delivery.
These responsibilities are demonstrated through performing the following:
Manage the use, configuration and integration of schedule, cost, risk and database software
Develop and implement project control, reporting systems, online dashboards, and effective report formats
Develop and implement project reporting processes, systems and databases to deliver high quality, meaningful information to the department
Manage internal systems (Primavera, Cobra, Oracle etc.) and provide analysis to the executive management team (Earned Value Management analysis and performance reporting)
Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, hardware, and/or enhancements to existing CNL applications by ensuring that all functional requirements, system compliance and interface specifications are met.
Coordinate feasibility studies for software and system products under consideration for purchase, and give advice based on findings
Participate in Lessons Learned / benchmarking opportunities, to share developments that could improve the operational performance of the CNL management systems, infrastructure and/or assets.
The Manager is a member of the CNL management team and is responsible for making contributions, as required, to achieve the overall goals and objective of CNL
Develop future leaders through mentoring and transfer of skills and knowledge.
Develop and maintain good internal relationships to promote teamwork and collaboration.
Completion of tasks and initiatives as assigned by the Director to improve the performance for service delivery
Act as delegate for the Director, and other duties as required

Wage: $93,760 - $156,900 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hrs/week

The Manager has a university degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business, Engineering, Project Management) and 10 years of experience in business management, strategic planning, scenario analysis and/or project control gained through leading multidisciplinary teams in a large project environment (e.g., IT, engineering, scientific).
Proven problem solving, planning and organizational skills and demonstrated competency in leading others to deliver the expected results on a diverse set of objectives, on time and on budget.
Must be able to quickly develop a solid understanding of CNL priorities, knowledge of operations on CNL sites and a network of contacts across the company and in partner and stakeholder organizations.
Must be self-motivated, have high energy, be driven by success, and exhibit strong leadership and motivational skills. This position requires attention to detail and excellence, with a bias to action and achieving goals, including continuous efforts to identify and implement changes to improve the operations of CNL.
