Job Description

We currently have an exciting career opportunity in our York, Ontario facility, for a Fix-Wings Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.

Reporting to the Supervisory Base AME, this position requires individuals who are organized and self-starter.

Duties include:

  • performing aircraft maintenance,
  • organizing and housekeeping of the hangar facility.

The position does involve on-call and call-outs during days, evenings and weekends.


  • Hold a valid Transport Canada M1 licence;
  • Hold the legal authorization to work in Canada (this position is not eligible for sponsorship);
  • Have at least 6-months of experience on CARs 523 (Normal Category) aircraft;
  • Previous experience on EC120B type helicopters will be considered an asset;
  • Previous experience on GA-8 Air Van and/or Lycoming TIO-540 engines will be considered an asset;
  • Strong avionics troubleshooting background will be considered an asset.

Interested candidates must also:

  • Be customer focused and a team player;
  • Have good communication skills and a positive attitude;
  • Be able to obtain access to controlled goods approval.
