About the Opportunity

Currently, C & G.C. Consultations Inc. has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer based in Toronto, ON to join our team on a full-time basis.

As our new Electrical Engineer, you'll be working on-site to plan, evaluate and oversee the installation and performance of electrical systems. You will be working with the general contractor, electricians, and other stakeholders to ensure that the internal, and external network systems in the building runs smoothly. 

Your other key responsibilities within this role will include:

  • Knowing the products used, design, functions, techniques, and methods of verification of systems
  • Recording all data related to the work performed in the service request forms (repair details, number of hours worked, use of parts, comments on the repair, etc.)
  • Ensuring accurate planning of daily work schedules within your tasks and calendar 
  • Offering and delivering quality service to our clients
  • Submitting (daily) system startup reports
  • Collaborating and communicating with various stakeholders of the project, both in writing and verbally 
  • Performing a complete check of the components installed and putting them into service
  • Being in constant communication with the internal project engineer
  • Performing all other related tasks related to kickstarting and maintaining the lighting systems in the building

More About You

In order to qualify for this role, you will join us with a college or university diploma, preferably in a relevant field, and at least 2 to 5 years of experience in the electrical industry. You'll possess a strong interest in planning, troubleshooting, and overseeing lighting systems. Proficiency with computer network communication would be an asset, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite. 

As our ideal candidate for this role, you'll have a solid knowledge of electrical systems, and strong manual dexterity. Your problem solving skills and analytical ability, along with your excellent verbal and written communication skills will ensure your success within this role. You are comfortable working alone or with various stakeholders, whether in the office, on a construction site, or during an installation. 

Your attention to detail and in-depth understanding of electrical systems will help in designing and planning an entire project from the beginning to end. Above all, you'll be a team player who has high standards and is eager to learn and help grow our organization.
