DUTIES

 

  • Conduct workshops with customers to provide overview of Blue Yonder’s Commerce micro-services (like Inventory, Availability, Commits, Order Services and Order Fulfillment) and help define the scope of the customer implementation projects
  • Design and configure Commerce micro-services (like Inventory, Availability, Commits, Order Services and Order Fulfillment) for eCommerce and omni-channel order management requirements
  • Document the solution design of Commerce micro-services for customer’s implementation projects
  • Design and develop integrations between Commerce micro-services and customer’s eCommerce and order management systems using best practices of package implementation for products like IBM Sterling Order Management System
  • Develop extensions in Commerce micro-services as per the designed solutions for customers using Java, REST services, XML, JSON, SQL, JMS etc.
  • Configure, design and develop extensions in order management products like IBM Sterling Order Management System for customers to meet their omni-channel order management and fulfillment requirements
  • Assist customer teams in conducting their end-to-end test, performance test and user acceptance test of Commerce micro-services based solutions
  • Troubleshoot and replicate issues faced by customers in Commerce micro-services
  • Provide immediate workarounds or fix bugs in Commerce micro-services based solutions
  • Support deployment of Commerce micro-services in production environments, identify issues and provide workaround / fixes as needed during deployment/go-live
  • Provide support of the live solution during hyper-care period
  • Provide knowledge transition of the solution implemented to key customer teams
  • Communicate business cases to product management and product development teams regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements
  • Automation testing, environment Startup, and data-loading activities.
  • Conduct integration discussions and interface mapping sessions with Customer teams.
  • Leading cross-functional teams of experts to help customers design, plan, implement, and govern cloud strategies, combining technical vision and business insight.
  • Developing various data strategies based on cloud and open-source technology.
  • Work collaboratively with other architects and developers in the team through the execution of the project.
  • Help assist with performance tuning the SaaS environment to handle peak hour load.
  • Offers mentorship and product-level leadership to the broader Customer Success team.
  • Participates in core product discussions to ensure Customer Success is represented, providing input on the roadmap and other cross-functional discussions and initiatives.
  • Interacts directly with internal product teams to develop a strong relationship and a clear understanding of our solutions, cloud offerings, and support processes.
  • Support architecture and designing of application delivery automation and implementing tools/platforms to support rapid delivery via CI/CD pipelines and GitOps.
  • Travel to various, unanticipated client sites throughout Canada.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field followed by 8 years of progressive experience with implementation of an Order Management System, including retail, eCommerce, and omni-channel order management, developing and implementing software using Java, JSON, REST Services, SQL, JMS, XML, XSD, Oracle or DB2 database technology, and SOAP Webservices
  • In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree followed by 8 years of progressive experience, employer will accept a Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the fields stated above and 5 years of experience in the skill sets stated above.

 

Requires travel for up to 50% of time. May work from home, and at various, unanticipated locations throughout Canada.
