Ability to perform all duties and responsibilities of the position with a constant focus on Knoll Toronto’s goals

Required Skills
  • Leadership skills in leading quality improvement projects to reduce customer complaints and internal scrap
  • Conducts RCA on nonconformance and recommends corrective and preventive actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude at all times
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Excellent team player
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point and Access
Required Experience
  • Minimum 5 year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in leading continuous improvement project is must.
  • Previous experience with ISO 9000 & ISO 14000
  • Experienced / certified internal quality auditor.
  • Experienced six sigma project lead
  • Must have working experience and in depth knowledge of APQP, PPAP FMEA, PFD and Process Control Plan.
  • Working experience of Statistical Techniques, MSA, Gauge calibration, and Knowledge of GD&T
  • CQE Certification preferred
  • Experience with Kaizen is an asset
  • Experience and knowledge of:

-Cause analysis tools and process analysis tools.

-Inspection methods and supplier certification process.

-Lean methodology

-Visio and Minitab is an asset

  • Experience in wood industry is an asset
