Major Account Manager

Reporting to the National Sales Director, the Key Account Manager is accountable for managing all aspects of key accounts set-up, maintenance and development. The focus of this role is overall management and implementation of key regional and national accounts, regional sales development and operational improvement initiatives. The incumbent will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders including Store Managers, Operations, Outside Sales, as well as the Product Management group and will need to manage strong relationships internally in order to drive program efficiencies related to both regional and national accounts in Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

The successful candidate will effectively be involved in all aspects of managing key regional and national accounts by promoting strong relationship building with customers as well as key internal resources to ensure there are strong programs in place for key customers to achieve the highest level of business success and performance.

Experience will include overall Business Development and/or Account Management experience with ten years of experience preferably gained in a dealer/member/ retail/wholesale related environment to truck & trailer or automobile or related sectors. Must have a proven track record in working within a complex sales environment and be involved in the key decision making process related to key account management. Educational assets will include a Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma complimented with relevant professional experience. Candidates with all the appropriate core skills with experience from another industry sector will be considered.
