Type of position: Regular


You will be required to perform the following tasks:

  • Lead and carry out electrical engineering projects for clients in the data centre and critical systems industries.
  • Prepare and supervise the production of plans and specifications for engineering projects.
  • Supervise site work mainly for clients in the Greater Montréal and Québec City areas.
  • Commission electrical equipment.
  • Manage technical projects (project teams, design reviews, costs, schedules).
  • Ensure the transfer of technical knowledge to young engineers.
  • Oversee business relations and the quality of professional services.
  • Lead and participate in preparing proposals, where required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • From 5 to 12 years of professional experience, mainly in MV and LV apparatus and equipment
  • General knowledge of control, protection and power system studies
  • Technical and functional skills in low- and medium-voltage installation and equipment
  • Knowledge of safety in electrical installations
  • Ability to draft technical documents
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written
  • Available to work at client sites and offices
  • General knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code
  • Asset: knowledge of critical systems and data centres
  • Asset: knowledge of test equipment for various electrical devices.
