Your future role on our team

  • Contribute to projects related to mining processes, mechanics, industrial piping and plant systems (water, steam, compressed air)
  • Participate in preparing various types of drawings, such as fluid; flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), fire protection diagrams and HVAC system diagrams
  • Work with our engineers, technicians and designers and will be responsible for various project layouts
  • Apply BBA or client standards when drafting layouts, sketches, schematics or diagrams from detailed drawings
  • Produce preliminary plans for buildings, equipment or sites from reference drawings or catalogues
  • Participate in improving dynamic block libraries and other internal tools
  • Help more experienced colleagues with more complex tasks
  • When required, help prepare site surveys

Overview of certifications and job requirements

  • Diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in Building or Industrial Drafting or a diploma of college studies (DCS) in Mechanical, Building Mechanics or Architectural Engineering
  • Three years of relevant work experience or less
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • Good knowledge of Revit
  • Asset: knowledge of 3D software, such as SmartPlant 3D
  • Asset: bilingual (English and French)
