About the role

This position reports to the Information Technology (IT) Regional Manager and operates under the general direction of the 1LMX International Operations Project Management Office (PMO). The individual contributes to the successful operation of the 1LMX International Operations Team. A key element of this role is ensuring close integration between 1LMX product teams and business area operations within the specified region.

The ideal candidate is an experienced contributor capable of working with multiple stakeholder groups to ensure successful completion of specific projects. They need to be capable of applying their understanding and experience of technical principles to develop solutions to a wide range of difficult problems under only general direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage regular communication rhythms with key BA stakeholders within a particular region
  • Coordinate key requirements inputs and business needs from International BA stakeholders to BA 1LMX implementation organizations and 1LMX product teams
  • Support the 1LMX International Operations PMO to drive completion of key core team deliverables
  • Highlight risk areas, blockers, and key priorities of by BA regional operations to the 1LMX International PMO and other stakeholders as needed
  • Build close partnerships with BA stakeholders within a region and ensure alignment and consistent information flows between international and United States (US) domestic BA teams
  • Ability and willingness to support international activities that occur outside conventional local working hours and to occasionally travel internationally, if required.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (both verbal and written) with all levels of management and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment with only general direction
  • Committed to personal excellence, ethical behaviour, and integrity.

Additional skills desired for the role

  • General business experience and knowledge of Lockheed Martin Operations in local region
  • Experience with SAP or other key business applications
  • Previous experience as a Team lead
  • Experience of working in an international environment that crosses multiple time zones, languages, and cultures.

Primarily focusing on Australia, Canada, Poland and the UK, the team is responsible for facilitating the capture and delivery of all non-US business and system requirements across all 1LMX product teams.
