Reporting to the engineering services manager, the employee is responsible for the data management and data entry of Bill of Material (BOM) and the coordination of engineering documents.


Responsible for the BOM management;

  • Data entry for all new products and new components;
  • Creating Bills of Materials structures for new products, main and sub-assemblies;
  • Maintenance of the Approved Manufacturers List, including Second Source Requests and Component Change Requests;

Ensure the control, the quality and the reliability of processes related to engineering documents.

  • Management of revision control and Archiving of documents;
  • Hold the coordination meeting of engineering documents;
  • Ensure support to the different production department (Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality);

All other tasks related to the position.


  • Experience in documentation management and/or degree in a field relevant to the position;
  • College studies in Mechanical or Electronics (an asset);
  • Knowledge of the Windows environment (Excel, Outlook, Word);
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, components and assemblies (an asset);
  • Knowledge of the ISO quality system and ECN revision process, as well as experience of the MRP system (an asset);
  • Bilingualism, strong organizational skills, accuracy and good team spirit.
