Software Development Director

Tasks/Responsibilities

The Software Development Director will be responsible for managing and mobilizing a collaborative team of approximately 15 people (C# Developers, QA Analysts, DevOps, Technical Lead / Architect).

MORE PRECISELY

• Manage a budget of approximately $2.5M and plan deadlines
• Contribute to the recruitment of the development team and ensure sound change management
• Manage application projects for two main product lines, establish roadmaps and follow up
• Ensure the success of major deployments with different customers
• Work closely with the VP IT, make recommendations, and propose an action plan
• Work in a Microsoft 365 environment, C# .NET, Azure DevOps, ISO

PROFILE

• 5+ years of experience as Software Development Director
• Experience in recruiting and managing a team of approximately 10-15 people
• Interest in staying hands-on on product management and project management
• Experience in budget management of approximately $2.5M
• Strong spirit of collaboration, unifying and mobilizing personality
• Human leadership, ability to set clear and realistic goals
• Experience in Microsoft 365 environment
• Knowledge of C# (asset)
• BAC in computer science or equivalent
• Bilingualism required (French and English)
