Facilities Planning Specialist
Position and Responsibilities
Cameco's facilities team has an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful management of our Saskatoon properties. We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to plan and manage projects related to the workplace design and consolidation of our Saskatoon facilities, all while ensuring safe, compliant, efficient and cost effective operations.
As the facilities planning specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising project activity related to the interior design of the Saskatoon Corporate office. You will lead conceptual design meetings and discussions and work closely with various stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and Cameco personnel. You will build a project plan, coordinate furniture reconfigurations, ordering and installation and be responsible for the planning for storage and organization of extra product. You will be responsible for completing and managing project documentation, approvals, progress reports, and managing financial expenditures. You will prepare space layout drawings, retain and maintain electronic master plan drawings and oversee occupancy scheduling.
In this role, you will work with various furniture products and systems, such as modular systems to achieve functionality and effective planning of workspaces. You will apply design expertise in areas of interior finishes, furnishings, and color scheme.
This is a temporary term for up to eight months.
