Your Main Responsibilities Assist with the conceptual and detailed design of municipal infrastructure projects, including transportation, water, wastewater, and land development works; Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, contract documents, and technical reports; Support the development of proposals, cost estimates, project reports, and change orders; Assist in reviewing project scope, identifying required modifications, and implementing design solutions; Conduct site visits and construction inspections for municipal, transportation, and private sector projects; Monitor construction activities and document progress, observations, and deficiencies; Collaborate with engineers, project managers, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout project delivery; Maintain accurate project records and provide clear, concise reporting to supervisors and project teams; Contribute innovative ideas and continuous improvement initiatives to support project success; Execute work in accordance with company standards, applicable regulations, and industry best practices; Promote and apply Englobe's health and safety policies, procedures, and culture in all aspects of work. What Makes You Unique Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university Eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with the applicable provincial engineering association, or working toward professional designation; A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered; Knowledge of municipal infrastructure design principles and engineering practices; Previous experience with municipal engineering design or site inspection is considered an asset; Familiarity with engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) is considered an asset; Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated attention to detail, integrity, and a strong work ethic; Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment; Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle, with the ability to travel to project sites as required.
