Responsibilities Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment; Operate hoisting and lifting devices; Inspect and examine machinery and equipment; Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts; Operate power tools, pipe threaders, hand tools etc; Clean, lubricate and perform routine maintenance; Assemble machinery and equipment; Apply mechanical repair principles and procedures; Recommend equipment changes and modifications and evaluate new equipment; Assist with preventive maintenance programs; Building systems maintenance; Maintain work area in a neat condition; Monitor subcontractor work; Provide written reports; Analyze equipment breakdowns and propose corrective solutions; Follow safety and company policies; Other duties as required. Requirements Authorized to work in Canada; Ability to pass background checks and security screenings; Five (5) years of experience in an industrial environment; Ability to work with minimal supervision; Motivated self-starter; Physically capable of carrying out all aspects of tasks; Troubleshooting and problem-solving experience; Planning and organizing skills; Excellent verbal and written communication; French language considered an asset; Ability to work in adverse conditions including extreme weather, enclosed spaces and heights.
