Job Summary Reporting to the Lead Technician and working closely with exploration staff, the Exploration Technician supports exploration programs across the Company’s Ontario-based assets. The role assists with field activities related to drilling, sampling, logistics, core handling, and regional exploration support while contributing to safe and efficient program execution. This position is based in Geraldton and follows a rotational work schedule. Applicants must currently reside in Geraldton or the surrounding communities to be considered for this opportunity. Key Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day drilling, sampling, and field support activities. Support drillhole layout and drill site preparation. Monitor active drill programs and communicate progress to supervisors. Assist with maintaining safe site access and environmental compliance requirements. Conduct core handling activities including layout, washing, photography, cutting, sampling, and storage. Collect, transport, organize, and ship samples and QA/QC materials while maintaining chain of custody procedures. Complete basic geotechnical measurements and field data collection as required. Conduct GPS surveys of drill collars, sample locations, and other field points. Support regional exploration activities including soil sampling, prospecting, mapping support, and reconnaissance programs. Maintain accurate field notes and sample records. Assist with inventory management of field supplies, consumables, and equipment. Help organize core storage, warehouse, and field staging areas. Operate and maintain tools, light equipment, and vehicles in accordance with company procedures. Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards. Required Experience And Skill Set 1+ year of experience in mineral exploration, field operations, or related outdoor work environments. Exposure to drilling programs, sampling procedures, or core handling is considered an asset. Familiarity with GPS equipment and field data collection is considered an asset. Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and 4x4 vehicles. Experience operating ATVs or similar equipment is an asset. Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365. Legally eligible to work in Canada. Job Conditions Able to work outdoors in inclement weather conditions. Combination of field and support facility work. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to operate vehicles on paved roads and gravel tracks. Full proficiency in English. Travel within Ontario. The expected salary range for this position is $61,400.00. Requirements
