At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL. We are presently seeking five (5) Assembly Technician II employees to join our Mississauga team. Three (3) positions are available on the morning shift and two (2) positions are available on the afternoon shift. The successful candidates will perform tasks to assemble optical, mechanical, and electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems. Main responsibilities: Performs routine tasks with limited supervision and only requiring supervision on newly assigned tasks. Detail oriented with proven ability to learn new processes and systems. Performs intermediate assembly tasks, such as mechanical assembly, soldering, encapsulating, die bonding, wire bonding, cleaning, epoxy, curing, operation of pneumatic machinery, etc. Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases or other packing material. May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying device. Performs inline testing, inspection using measuring instruments, software, fixtures, and electrical test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards. Ability to cross train on other programs in the facility. Ability to perform various repair/rework operations using approved written procedures. Follow instructions from electronic or printed assembly processes or electronic test procedures Ability to perform any other job-related task assigned by your supervisor/manager. Requirements: At least 1 years to 2 years of electronics assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Post secondary diploma or certificate in a related discipline Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ability to read and comprehend work instructions. Good English verbal and written communication skills Experience working in an ISO9001, 14001, 13485 certified, and/or FDA QSR compliant environment is an asset. We are currently hiring for five (5) vacancies, consisting of three (3) morning-shift positions and two (2) afternoon-shift positions. Morning shift from 6am-2:30pm Monday thru Friday & Afternoon shift from 2:00pm - 10:30pm Monday thru Friday.
