Job Description Overnight Maintenance Technician Our Overnight Maintenance Technician ensures the smooth running of the hotel facilities throughout the evening, with responsibilities ranging from maintaining guest rooms, to ensuring colleague back spaces are in good condition. Starting Rate of Pay: $29.90 per hour This is a full-time, permanent role. We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $38.00. Job Duties Include Ensure health and safety compliance via inspections and restoration of property facilities and equipment, throughout both guest rooms and public areas Maintenance of health club facilities including hot tubs and pools On-call as part of the hotel overnight Emergency Response Team Work alongside hotel departments to ensure preventative measures are in place to maintain upkeep of hotel facilities Qualifications Experience in a property maintenance position, with working knowledge of mechanical functions Pool Operator Level 1 qualification Prior experience using various hand and power tools Job Perks & Benefits Subsidized staff accommodation provided Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria per shift Access to our Employee Travel Program, with discounts on room rates and food & beverage at Fairmont & Accor properties worldwide Hotel leisure benefits including Golf/Ski passes Additional Information Visa Requirements: To progress with your application, you must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
