The company delivers innovative engineering solutions to a wide range of manufacturing industries and offers a collaborative environment where technical expertise and continuous improvement are highly valued.</p> <strong>Mission</strong> <p>As an Automation Specialist, you will play a key role in the design, programming and commissioning of automated industrial systems for a variety of custom projects. <br> <br>Your responsibilities will include: <br> <br>Designing and programming PLC, HMI and drive systems for automated equipment; <br>Developing electrical schematics and technical documentation; <br>Supporting factory acceptance testing (FAT), equipment commissioning and customer start-ups when required; <br>Providing technical support to engineering, production and field service teams; <br>Troubleshooting automation systems and implementing effective solutions; <br>Participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and engineering practices; <br>Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery. <br> <br>Working Conditions : <br> <br>Competitive salary based on experience; <br>Minimum of three weeks of vacation, including a holiday shutdown; <br>Comprehensive group insurance program; <br>40-hour work week with an early finish every Friday; <br>Free on-site parking; <br>Ongoing training and professional development opportunities; <br>Collaborative work environment focused on innovation and continuous improvement; <br>Permanent position with excellent long-term career stability.</p> <strong>Your profile</strong> <p>Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation and PLC programming; <br>Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley platforms (RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME); <br>Experience with Siemens TIA Portal; <br>Knowledge of Step7, GE or Omron platforms is considered an asset; <br>Experience programming PLCs, HMIs and variable frequency drives; <br>Robot programming experience (FANUC and/or ABB) is an asset; <br>Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical design software is an asset; <br>Fluent in both French and English; <br>Spanish language skills are considered an asset; <br>Strong analytical skills, autonomy and the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams. <br> <br>If you're looking to work on innovative automation projects within a collaborative engineering environment, we'd be pleased to discuss this opportunity with you.</p> <br><br>
