From Drivers to Technicians, Customer Experience experts to Site Managers, Engineers to Electricians, we come together as a team of experts, to do more for our customers How you’ll power our business as an EC&I Technician As an EC&I Technician, will be responsible for designing, developing, installing and commissioning control systems and instrumentation that we use to monitor and control the process at our customers and our own Flogas operational depots throughout the UK, including faut finding and rectification on sites across the country. Travel requirements around the UK are part of this role and candidates must be flexible to accommodate this. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. What We’ll Need From You Basic understanding of PLC functioning Experience of installation and commissioning of Hazardous Area Electrical systems. Experience of process communications including MODBUS, Profi-bus and Profi-net. Experience of instrument calibration, Inspection and Testing of a wide range of instrumentation: Pressure, level, flow, temperature (Analogue & Digital) Basic understanding of engineering documentation (Functional Design Specification (FDS), User Requirements Specification (URS) Time served apprenticeship EC&I or electrical. Level 3 NVQ Electrical C&G2365, Minimum. Level 3 BTEC Instrumentation and control engineering, Minimum. Compex modules EX01-4 What You’ll Get From Us You matter. What you’ll do

The EC&I Technician is responsible for designing, installing, and commissioning control systems and instrumentation to monitor processes at customer sites and operational depots. The role also involves performing fault finding and rectification across various locations throughout the UK.

Requirements

Candidates must have a time-served apprenticeship in EC&I or electrical work, with Level 3 NVQ/BTEC certifications and Compex modules EX01-4. Experience with PLC functioning, process communications (MODBUS, Profi-bus), and instrument calibration is required.
