The technologist performs routine screening mammography procedures while ensuring patient safety and radiation protection. They are also responsible for maintaining imaging equipment, managing patient records, and facilitating efficient workflow within the medical imaging department. Candidates must hold a professional certification with the CAMRT and have successfully completed CAMRT Mammography 1 or an equivalent program. A minimum of one year of recent, related experience in mammography procedures is required.
