PDI Technician - Seasonal

The PDI Tech is responsible for making ready all service and sales units for customers as well as assisting with checking in new units, show set up and taking inventory pictures. This includes small repairs varying from appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and oil changes. * Reviewing vehicle work orders * Relaying necessary major repairs to the Fraserway Service department * Supply RV’s with Rental equipment * Assist the Fleet Coordinator with ensuring a smooth vehicle turnaround * Topping up vehicle fluids * Vehicle transfers between Fraserway Dealerships, storage locations and external repair shops * Winterize and de-winterize RV’s * Maintaining a clean and organized workspace. * Other duties as assigned by Rentals Manager. REQUIREMENTS * RV & Trailer repairs experience an asset * Experience with Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical (Automotive or Industrial) * General house renovation skills * Level 1 RV Certificate and experience in RV & trailers would be an asset. * Ability to work rotating Saturdays * Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license * Must be comfortable driving vehicles up to 30 feet * Weekend work and overtime during peak season * Good diagnostic skills We thank all applicants for their interest, however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted. Perform pre-delivery inspections and various repairs on rental RV units, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work. Assist with vehicle turnaround, fluid top-ups, and transporting vehicles between dealerships and repair shops.

Candidates should have experience in RV and trailer repairs, general house renovation skills, and a valid Class 5 driver's license. A Level 1 RV Certificate and the ability to work rotating Saturdays and overtime during peak season are assets.
