Door Technician About Us Sylvester's Maintenance & Mechanical, fast-growing building maintenance company serving commercial customers throughout the Denver Metro and I-25 corridor. With over 10 years in the facility maintenance industry, we have grown from a company of one to a team of 40+ employees — including service technicians, office support staff, and sales representatives. The Role We are seeking a Door Technician to perform a variety of service calls for our commercial customers. Working safely and efficiently, you will install, maintain, and repair high-speed doors, sectional doors, operators, gates, dock levelers, and related equipment. You will be assigned a company-provided service truck and will travel throughout the Northern Colorado area each day — primarily serving the Loveland, Longmont, and Fort Collins corridor. Most of your work will be performed independently, though you may occasionally work as part of a small team on larger projects. You will be issued a company phone and tablet and will use a digital work order system to manage your calls. What You'll Do Diagnose, service, and repair commercial doors, high-speed doors, sectional doors, operators, dock levelers, and gate systems Install new equipment and components at customer sites Maintain accurate digital work orders and communicate job status in real time Uphold safety standards on every job site Represent Sylvester's professionally with every customer interaction Participate in on-call rotation as needed What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Two (2) or more years of recent experience as a Door Technician preferred Welding experience a plus Valid driver's license and a safe driving history Ability to meet customer site access requirements, which may include a background check (see below) Note on Background Checks: Some of our commercial customers require vendors to comply with their facility access policies, which may include a background check. Any background screening is conducted in accordance with applicable Colorado law, including the Colorado Fair Employment Practices Act, and is evaluated on a case-by-case basis relevant to the specific role and customer requirement. Compensation Sylvester's Maintenance and Mechanical offers competitive pay commensurate with experience. Specific compensation details, including hourly rate or salary range, will be provided during the recruitment process in accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Pay range: $26-$32 per hour.
