We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to support our customers throughout Ontario province. About The Role The Field Service Technician is a highly hands-on, customer-facing technical professional responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of admixture dispensing systems at customer concrete plants and on mixer trucks across British Columbia. Safety is our top priority. In this role, you will help ensure customer equipment operates reliably, service issues are resolved quickly, and customers realize the full value of Saint-Gobain Construction Chemicals solutions. As the primary company representative at many customer sites, you will work closely with plant managers, batch plant operators, maintenance teams, mixer truck drivers, and internal sales and technical teams. This position is ideally suited to an individual who enjoys working independently, solving technical challenges, and delivering exceptional customer service in the field. This is a remote position requiring travel throughout British Columbia, as well as flexibility to support occasional early morning, evening, overnight, or emergency service requirements. IS THIS JOB FOR YOU? Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, mechanical service, construction equipment maintenance, concrete plant operations, or a related technical field. Strong mechanical and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience working with pumps, dispensing systems, electrical and mechanical components, meters, gauges, tools, and industrial equipment. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain a high level of organization. Comfortable using computers and service management systems for work orders, maintenance records, parts tracking, and expense reporting. Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record. Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout British Columbia. Preferred Qualifications Experience in concrete production, ready-mix operations, batch plant environments, admixtures, or related construction materials industries. Knowledge of concrete batching systems and associated equipment. The national pay range for this position is 60,500$ to 70,000$ per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 7% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures.
