Schedule: Full Time Pay: $18-25/hr Key Responsibilities Carpet & Floor Cleaning * Perform commercial carpet cleaning using hot water extraction, low‑moisture systems, and encapsulation methods. * Clean and maintain carpet, walk off mats, upholstery, and fabric partitions. * Pre‑treat heavily soiled areas, remove spots and stains, and apply protective treatments as required. * Operate and maintain equipment such as truck mounts, portable extractors, scrubbers, and air movers. Job Site Duties * Inspect job sites and identify cleaning needs and potential issues. * Follow all safety protocols, including chemical handling and PPE use. * Move light furniture to access carpeted areas; return items to original positions. * Ensure work areas are left clean, organized, and hazard‑free. Customer Service & Communication * Interact professionally with clients, building staff, and supervisors. * Provide clear explanations of cleaning processes, estimated timelines, and any post‑cleaning instructions. * Report damages, concerns, or additional service opportunities to management. Equipment & Vehicle Care * Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines, hoses, tools, and company vehicles. * Track chemical usage and ensure proper inventory levels. * Report equipment failures or service needs promptly. Documentation * Complete work orders, time logs, and service reports accurately. * Capture before‑and‑after photos as needed. * Follow company procedures for job completion and customer sign‑off. Qualifications Required * Valid driver’s license with clean driving record. * Ability to lift 50–75 lbs, work on feet for extended periods, and perform physical tasks. * Willingness to work evenings, early mornings, or weekends as required by commercial scheduling. * Strong attention to detail and reliability. Preferred * Experience in carpet cleaning, restoration, janitorial work, or facility maintenance. * IICRC Certifications (e.g., Carpet Cleaning Technician – CCT). * Familiarity with commercial facilities (offices, retail, industrial, hospitality, etc.). Skills & Competencies * Knowledge of carpet fibers, stain removal techniques, and cleaning chemistry. * Mechanical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting equipment. * Excellent communication and customer-relations skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Time-management and problem‑solving skills. Work Environment * Indoor and outdoor work in commercial settings. * Exposure to cleaning chemicals, noise, and physical labor. * May require flexible scheduling
