Primary Responsibilities * Ensure all plant equipment is lubricated regularly according to manufacturer recommendations, including process and facility equipment. * Communicate potential problems as they arise. * Liaise with lubrication and filter suppliers on all issues. * Maintain and control inventory levels. * Implement proper identification and disposal of waste oil in accordance with Goodyear and M.O.E. guidelines. - Check levels on all hydraulic tanks in curing areas. * Fill hydraulic tanks as required. * Receive and unload oil deliveries from tankers. * Dispose of waste oil via tanker or drum and document accordingly. * Order and restock air filters. * Take oil samples and document all test results.Monitor equipment oil levels and temperatures. * Complete assigned plant-wide preventative maintenance (PM) tasks. * Top up auto greasers throughout the plant. * Replace oil and air filters. * Conduct off-line filtration. * Maintain and replace auto greasers when required. * Respond to emergency calls throughout the plant. * Track and log hydraulic oil consumption daily, weekly, and monthly, and report to business centers. * Work from a PM program, updating daily and printing work orders as required. Required Qualifictions * Mechanically inclined * Be able to self-manage throughout shift * Strong problem-solving skills * Be able to report to work on time and ready to perform the tasks required each day * Self motivated * Able to determine priority of tasks as they arise and complete tasks in a reasonable amount of time.
