Description Tool Engineering and STTE - Electrical Engineer/Technologist Key Job Elements Design and validate special tools and test equipment (STTE) for heavy off road vehicles Developing and designing electrical circuits, components, systems and equipment Developing maintenance and operating procedures for electrical systems and equipment Troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment Coordinate STTE prototype fabrication with local vendors to ensure the deliverables are met Communicate with Engineering and Training Department to develop STTE concepts/models Establish and maintain interface with Customers and business partners and suppliers Maintain drawing files and CAD model structure to comply with department procedures Required Qualifications Electrical Engineering Technologist diploma/ or Degree 1-3 years relevant work experience 1-3 years of 3D Modeling/Parametric CAD experience Must have high level of analytical, problem solving and electrical aptitude skills Effective project management skills Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 5% US & International) and possess/able to acquire and maintain a valid passport Preferred Qualifications Minimum 3 years relevant work experience 3+ Years of 3D Modeling/Parametric CAD experience Worked with Unigraphics (Siemens NX) CAD software Worked with Team Center Engineering/Manufacturing applications Worked within a unionized environment Working Environment 80% Office - CAD design 20% Shop Floor Validation - Vendor Fabrication

Requirements
