JOB DUTIES Disassembles, cleans, and inspects system components for repair. Diagnoses system components and recommends a solution to the customer. Prepares job form listing parts and works necessary to perform the repair. Designs, fabricates, machines, and welds parts and components. Repairs hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. and other related items. Assembles new and repaired equipment. Tests repaired equipment for performance and prepares for shipment or long-term storage. Assist customers by answering specific technical questions to help the customer understand the work to be done. May provide quotes or take customer orders. Performs other duties as assigned. Performs maintenance on assigned customer products that come through the service shop. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Push/pull up to 100 pounds Lift/carry up to 100 pounds Lift bulky objects Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, reach and lift, ladder climb and carry, crawling. Working conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor. Noise level may be loud at times. Ability to work overtime and weekends. COMPENSATION $27.80 - $37.30 (hourly) Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Motion, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range. What you’ll do

The technician will be responsible for disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing system components, including hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role also involves designing, fabricating, machining, and welding parts, as well as assembling, testing, and preparing repaired equipment for shipment.

Requirements

Candidates must be capable of performing physical demands such as lifting up to 100 pounds and various physical movements like kneeling, crawling, and climbing ladders, often in loud indoor or outdoor working conditions. The role requires the ability to work overtime and weekends to complete assigned maintenance and repair duties.
