What’s required: Mechanics must have: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); technical diploma desired 1+ year experience as a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic Relevant criteria for safety-sensitive functions according to Company standards Follow detailed instructions, work independently and maintain accurate records Willingness to operate any vehicle or equipment necessary to perform job Exert physical effort including pushing, pulling, bending and lifting items up to 100 lbs. Use fine motor coordination with arm, hand, finger and leg dexterity Ability to kneel, crawl and climb #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest. The Heavy Duty Equipment Technician is responsible for rebuilding, repairing, and performing maintenance on the company's fleet of trucks and motorized equipment. They play a vital role in ensuring all vehicles are safe and operational to support local community services.

Applicants must hold a Red Seal/Certified Mechanic certification and possess at least one year of relevant experience. Candidates must also be physically capable of performing manual labor tasks such as lifting up to 100 lbs and working in various positions like kneeling or climbing.
