The Millwright role is responsible for the maintenance of industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and components, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrications, cooling, and exhaust systems, pumps, fans, tanks, conveyers, presses, generators and pneumatic and hydraulic controls. What’s Expected Troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, repair, replace and test industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and components, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrications, cooling, and exhaust systems, pumps, fans, tanks, conveyers, presses, generators and pneumatic and hydraulic controls. Records all work performed, and equipment malfunctions and defects and provides detailed reports to Operations Manager in accordance with departmental procedures Work orders Safety Checklists Service Checklists Maintains a clean and orderly working environment Cleans work area of slip and trip hazards Returns all unused parts to parts department Returns all company owned tools to tool crib Performs general housekeeping of assigned workstation Carries out responsibilities in compliance with the provisions of the governing Occupational Health and Safety legislation and its regulations. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Quality and Environmental policies, procedures and objectives. Other duties as assigned by manager. You Have A valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) certification. 5+ years of experience in a similar role and environment. Excellent knowledge and proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, repair, replace and test industrial machinery, and mechanical equipment and components. A proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude. Valid G License is an asset.
