The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for Casual Library Technicians Applications are now being accepted for Casual Library Technicians in all our school communities across the Division. These positions are on-call and as-needed, offering a flexible opportunity to support students and staff. Library Technicians support and assist in the development, organization and maintenance of the school library. These individuals ensure the students "come first" and have the support they need to create a positive, friendly and safe learning environment. Salary Details In Accordance with the CUPE 4784 Collective Agreement Contact Details Sheila Tillman, Library Receptionist (306) 786-4785 The Duties Of a Library Technician Are To Cataloguing of library resources. Working collaboratively as a team member, along with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Other duties as outlined on our website in Job Description: The Successful Candidate Will Have The Desired Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent training/experience with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience as a Library Technician will be considered an asset. Candidates must have patience and compassion and enjoy working with children to create a fun, positive, safe learning environment. Interviews will be conducted upon application. Please note that GSSD may contact informal references not listed in your application package. Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
