EMTs provide direct pre-hospital, emergency and patient care. The only restriction that has been identified governing their participation in these departments is; No duties can restrict them from responding immediately to any ambulance calls. EMTs shall abide by the Sunrise Health Region and its Affiliates Mission, Vision, Values, Policies and Procedures. Requirements

Candidates must hold a Primary Care Paramedic diploma and a valid Class 4 driver's license. Registration with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at the PCP/EMT level is also required.
