THE POSITION The Equipment Service Technician (EST) is responsible for promptly repairing and maintaining dental equipment, contacting vendors and coordinating repairs sent directly from customers and technicians to vendors. The EST will also communicate all aspects of repairs and estimates to customers, providing customer service for repair and maintenance inquiries. In this role the EST develops customer relationships and provides support with the goal to grow the territory, this includes sourcing new accounts and promoting preventative maintenance agreements. The Qualifications You are someone who understands the value of strong customer relationships, and you know how to provide a client with great service. You are natural born tinkerer who has a passion for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment. Understanding and working with machinery and equipment is your strong suit. You have great time management skills, organizational skills, and work well under pressure. An education in mechanical or electrical technology is an asset. Your favourite words are diagnostics, repair, installation, hydraulics, pneumatics, troubleshoot, mechanical, electronics This position reports to our Ottawa Branch and requires some travel across Ottawa and surrounded areas. Compensation: The posted range for this position is $65,000– $72,000 which is the expected salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
